Peterborough have signed Everton striker Kieran Agard on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has been signed to help fill the gap left by the sale of Aaron Mclean to Hull and he is available for the FA Cup trip to Fulham this weekend.

Posh boss Gary Johnson said: ""He is only a young lad but he is talented, can score goals and we like his energy and work-rate."

He added: "I have seen Kieran play a couple of times and have watched endless DVDs of him.

"We think he is ready and mature enough to play at this level and he comes very well recommended by David Moyes."
