Blades rocked by striker injury

Published Add your comment

Sheffield United have been rocked by a shoulder injury to striker Richard Cresswell.

The 33-year-old suffered the problem in the second half of the 2-2 draw with Doncaster on Monday and now faces four to six weeks on the sidelines.

Boss Micky Adams said: "He has done his shoulder. He is an honest kid and we're going to miss Cressy because in the two games he has played for me he has been outstanding."

Cresswell has scored four league goals in 21 starts this season.
