Keith Hill Palace link dismissed

Rochdale have branded speculation linking boss Keith Hill with the vacant managerial position at Crystal Palace as "a complete non-story".

The Eagles are searching for a new manager following George Burley's recent sacking and the highly-rated Hill has been linked with the Selhurst Park hot-seat.

"This has been going on since last week and to be honest we are getting tired of people creating stories with no substance or truth," said Dale chief executive Colin Garlick.

"Rochdale AFC have had no approach from Crystal Palace and we have said as much to anyone who has contacted us.

"This is just pure speculation, paper talk and a complete non-story."
