Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Inter Milan's Victor Obinna, according to reports in Italy.

The Nigerian international is currently on loan at West Ham for the remainder of this season and Obinna has said he is happy with life at the Boleyn Ground.

The 23-year-old has made just eight appearances for Inter Milan since joining them from Chievo in 2008 and he has 14 league appearances to his name this season with the Hammers.

Last season, Obinna spent a year in Spain on loan at Malaga, hitting four goals in 26 appearances.

It is also thought that Obinna would fit the criteria of the Liverpool'sc new American owners who are keen to recruit young players who would have a re-sale value to Anfield.

At international level, Obinna has scored seven goals and was also in Nigeria's squad for the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.
