Rochdale boss Keith Hill will assess Josh Thompson and Nicky Adams ahead of the home clash with Bournemouth.
Defender Thompson sustained a back injury and was replaced after just 15 minutes of Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Leyton Orient.
Alan Goodall came on to take Thompson's place and could now be asked to deputise from the start.
Winger Adams also picked up an ankle injury in the 44th minute and was replaced by Matt Done.
Saturday's clash was played on a rain-soaked pitch at Spotland and skipper Gary Jones said: "I didn't think the game should have gone ahead and I think everyone saw it as a farce."
Defender Scott Wiseman remains unavailable as he serves the final game of a three-match suspension.
Bournemouth have caretaker manager Lee Bradbury in control for the first time.
The 35-year-old's appointment as interim boss coincides with his retirement as a player, so youngster Lyle Taylor could graduate to his striking berth.
Defender Ryan Garry is close to a return to action following a shin injury and could take a place on the bench.
Striker Michael Symes has recovered from back and thigh injuries last week but was not deemed fit enough to start in the 2-1 loss at Colchester.
Goalkeeper Jon Stewart will compete with Shwan Jalal for a place between the sticks after the latter conceded twice in the Cherries' first league defeat in four games.
Striker Steve Fletcher - who scored the consolation at the Weston Homes Community Stadium - becomes Bradbury's assistant manager.
