Manchester United and Real Madrid are battling it out for the signature of Argentine playmaker Juan Manuel Iturbe according to TalkSport.
The 17 year-old is making a big impression back in his home country and European scouts are flocking to see Itubre in action at his club - Quilmes.
Iturbe started playing first team football with Cerro Porteño in 2009, at age 16.
The young attacker was not on a professional contract with Cerro Porteño and he signed for Quilmes on a free transfer in August 2010.
He was part of a specially selected Argentina squad that contained the promising youth players in Argentina, taken to the 2010 FIFA World Cup to train with the senior squad.
Manchester United have an extensive South American scouting network and Iturbe has come to their attention due to his pace and trickery, although Real Madrid are also said to be keen on him.
