City fire past Foxes

Published Add your comment

A last-minute Aleksandar Kolarov strike finally killed off Sven-Goran Eriksson's Leicester as Manchester City booked an FA Cup fourth round trip to Notts County with a 4-2 victory.

Leading 3-1 thanks to two goals in 77 first-half seconds from Patrick Vieira and Adam Johnson, City looked to be coasting home.

But Lloyd Dyer provided a few nervous moments when he halved the deficit eight minutes from time, only for Kolarov to launch a 25-yard shot to snuff out Leicester's hopes.
