Fulham are lining up a loan move for young Chelsea star Gael Kakuta, according to the Daily Mail.

Kakuta has been given limited chances to prove himself during what has been a difficult time for Chelsea in the Premier League and Fulham manager Mark Hughes is offering him a chance of regular football at Craven Cottage.

The 19 year-old has made six Premier League appearances for the champions without scoring and it is thought that Carlo Ancelotti wants the French youth international to get some Premier League experience under his belt before giving him a run of games in the Chelsea team.

On 21 December 2010, Kakuta signed a new four-and-a-half year contract with Chelsea, committing himself to the club until 2015.

Kakuta joined Chelsea in 2007 from French club Lens who had him in their academy setup.

Fulham are also said to be closing in on a deal that would see Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips return to West London after limited opportunities at Eastlands. Arsenal's Henri Lansbury has also been linked with a move to SW6.
