Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen has signed a new deal with the club, keeping him at Ewood Park until the summer of 2013.
The 33-year-old New Zealand international was contracted to Rovers until next year, but has now penned a new one-year extension.
Nelsen joined Blackburn from DC United in 2005 and has been a first-team regular throughout his stay, making in excess of 200 appearances for the club.
He captained his country in last year's World Cup and, last month, was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to football.
