Reported Arsenal target Siaka Tiene has his sights set on a move to the Premier League.

According to talkSPORT, the versatile Paris Saint-Germain defender is ready to seal a switch to England, and has his heart set on one club in particular.

"Nothing is going to prevent me playing in the Premier League. I dream about playing in England.

"I have always seen Arsene Wenger's teams play and it excites me."

Whether the 28-year-old Ivorian's "come and get me" plea will be heeded by the Arsenal boss remains to be seen, but he is known to be in the market for defensive reinforcements.

Arsenal are expected to add at least one defender to their ranks during the transfer window after injury to Sebastien Squillaci left them with just two fit recognised centre-backs in Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou.

The long-term injury to Thomas Vermaelen is also a frustration for Arsenal and Wenger admits that he is worryingly short on centre-backs.

"It is a worry as long as [Sebastien] Squillaci is out, I must say, as we are short, but we have other resources," he said.

"If the worst came to the worst, [Abou] Diaby is coming back so if we have to put [Alex] Song back we have Diaby coming back to play in midfield."

Arsenal have also been linked with moves for Aston Villa centre-half Richard Dunne and Bolton ace Gary Cahill in their pursuit of reinforcements.
