Redknapp is reportedly going to make the move despite previously being given a "hands off" warning by Everton boss David Moyes earlier this month.
Tottenham have inquired about the versatile, former England international before, but will make a formal bid for the former Manchester United star who could be part of his Champions League squad.
Neville knows of Redknapp’s interest after he was quoted on January 11th saying: "He's a great player but I'm sure David Moyes knows just how important he is to his team. He's a real leader for them and David wouldn't want to lose him so it'd be a difficult one.'
He could be the second Everton player to head to White Hart Lane in as many weeks after Steven Pienaar signed last week for an undisclosed fee. David Moyes will be desperate not to lose another of his most consistent performers.
Neville began his career his career at Manchester United where he made 263 league appearances before seeking pastures new at Everton in 2005. At United, Neville won six Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the Champions League.
