Liverpool midfielder target Arda Turan is reportedly available for transfer in the summer.
The Turkish international has been monitored by a number of clubs in recent seasons as interest in his services grow, and Liverpool have been long-time admirers of the player.
Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal are also thought to be interested in the 23-year-old, who has been part of the Galatasaray first team for over five years now.
Sport.co.uk report that a number of enquiries have been made with regards to the players availability in the January transfer window, but agent Ahmet Bulut clarified the situation to the website.
“Of course there has been a lot of interest, from the Premier League and Spain, but the club do not want to sell Arda at the moment. In six months we will see.”
"For sure, he will stay until the end of the season then after we will see. At the moment he is staying because he is the captain of the team, but then we will see."
Turan has previously admitted that he's a Liverpool fan, and that a move to Anfield would be a dream for him, facts that place the Reds at the front of the queue for the player should they wish to make a move.
"Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition. In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them," Turan was quoted as saying in March.
"My dream has always been to play for one of the top European clubs, but you shouldn't make concrete plans."
It's unknown if Kenny Dalglish is as interested in the player as former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, who was keen to bring the Turkish icon to Merseyside.
Funds have been made available from new owners NESV should 'King Kenny' decide to make a move at the end of the season, but Liverpool will not land the player cheaply given the interest from several parties.
