Dagenham & Redbridge will be without midfielder Danny Green for the visit of Brentford.

The winger is beginning a three-match ban after he was shown a straight red card during the 1-0 defeat to the MK Dons.

Manager John Still has options to replace Green, with Darren Currie or John Nurse likely to be handed a role wide on the right.

Striker Josh Scott is resting after recovering from a mystery virus which hospitalised him so he will not be available.

On-loan Cardiff midfielder Solomon Taiwo is still missing having tweaked his hamstring so Peter Gain will continue to fill in.

Striker John Akinde is available to make his debut after signing on loan from Bristol City.

Brentford's veteran goalkeeper Simon Royce is in line to start his first match in over a year.

The 39-year-old Bees goalkeeping coach came off the bench at Yeovil on Saturday after regular number one Richard Lee was sent off.

Lee serves a one-match ban so Royce is expected to get the nod ahead of youngster Simon Moore to start his first game since he played for Gillingham in December 2009.

Winger Sam Saunders is close to returning after six weeks out with a hamstring injury and could be involved against his former club.

Utility man Sam Wood is therefore the only definite absentee as he continues his recovery from a broken arm.
