Torquay manager Paul Buckle is without the suspended Chris Zebroski for the visit of Hereford.
The striker was given his marching orders for two bookable offences in the 1-0 FA Cup defeat to non-league Crawley and serves a one-match suspension against the Bulls.
Zebroski's strike partner Elliot Benyon, who has attracted interest in the January transfer window, played against Crawley with a broken nose and Buckle will be hoping he is fit to play once again.
Midfielder Joe Oastler, who has extended his loan with the Seagulls' until the end of the season, is pushing for a starting place after having to settle for a place on the bench in the cup defeat.
Hereford will be without defender Joe Heath.
The Bulls` courageous FA Cup run came to an end at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday as they were sunk 4-1 in the fourth round, with Heath - on loan from Exeter - seeing red for bringing down Clinton Morrison in the penalty area.
He now serves a one-match suspension and misses the trip to Plainmoor, which comes just a day after he extended his loan stay from Exeter until the end of the season.
Midfielder Harry Pell also arrived from Bristol Rovers on an initial month-long loan deal and he could feature for the Bulls.
Manager Jamie Pitman named an unchanged side at Hillsborough with the Bulls going into the tie on the back of a five-match winning run, and he is unlikely to tinker too much with his starting line-up.
Ryan Green or new loan signing Daniel Preston are likely to come in for Heath, while there could possibly be a debut for striker Wesley Ngo Baheng who arrived on Friday but was unavailable at the weekend.
