Hereford welcome back Michael Townsend for the visit of Burton although manager Jamie Pitman will find it tough to make any changes to his XI after last weekend`s 3-0 victory at Cheltenham.

Centre-back Townsend missed out against his former club as he served a one-match ban and may now face a tall order getting his shirt back.

New signing Waide Fairhurst came in and grabbed a double on his debut, while fellow loanee Harry Pell made his first start in midfield and duly impressed.

Fairhurst is now set to make his Edgar Street bow and midfielder Pell his first full start on home soil against a Burton side just four points and two places below the Bulls in the table, albeit with four games in hand.

Long-term absentees Ryan Valentine and Dan Connor (both hip) remain on the sidelines.

Burton have no new problems ahead of the trip to Herefordshire.

Boss Paul Peschisolido could make changes after he was critical of his side's performance during the midweek defeat at Torquay.

Club captain Darren Moore, fellow defender Scott Malone, midfielders Lewis Young and Jimmy Phillips and forwards Sam Winnall and Greg Pearson are all available for recalls.

The versatile Ryan Austin has missed the last two matches with an ankle problem and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit enough to return.

"Torquay was a very poor performance on the back of beating the league leaders (Chesterfield)," said Peschisolido.

"We can't win more than one game in a row and that's a disgrace with the players we've got at this club."
