QPR will 'grind' their way back to the Premier League

QPR manager Neil Warnock knows his side will have to "grind" their way back to the Premier League.

The npower Championship leaders were held to a 1-1 draw at bottom club Preston on Saturday despite Heidar Helguson's early opener.

"It proves there are no easy games - look at Forest losing against Scunthorpe the other night - that's the kind of league it is," said Warnock. "We'll keep ticking along though, that's 14 games to go now. From now on it's going to be a grind."

Barry Nicholson's equaliser for the Lilywhites means the gap at the top remains five points, and second-placed Nottingham Forest have a game in hand.
