As you were for Pools

Hartlepool have no new injury or suspension concerns as they prepare to host Southampton.

First-team coach Mick Wadsworth came out of Saturday`s 1-0 home defeat to MK Dons with a clean bill of health and must decide whether or not to freshen up his XI, with Neil Austin (calf) his only current absentee.

James Brown was on the bench against the Dons as Pools continue to manage his long-standing knee problem, but could line up against the Saints.

That means Ritchie Humphreys may make way as Brown resumes his promising partnership with on-loan forward Ryan Donaldson, who thought he had opened his account for the club against Dons only to see his goal ruled out.

Humphreys' inclusion for Brown was the only change to Hartlepool`s starting line-up on Saturday as the 33-year-old equalled Watty Moore`s club record of 472 appearances.

Adam Lallana is expected to return to the Southampton starting line-up.

Lallana made his comeback following a month on the sidelines with a knee injury as a second-half substitute against Carlisle last weekend.

Fellow midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has missed the last two games with a calf injury and is not expected to be risked despite some extra time to recover after Saturday's trip to Rochdale was postponed.

Striker David Connolly could be added to the bench following a recent hernia operation, but winger Lee Holmes is still out after ankle surgery.

Rookie Arsenal goalkeeper James Shea signed on loan last week following an injury to Bartosz Bialkowski and will be on the bench as cover for Kelvin Davis.
