Boss Billy Davies will select from an unchanged squad as Nottingham Forest look to strengthen their grip on second spot in the npower Championship at home to struggling Preston.

Five players remain unavailable to Davies but the Scot does have options should he wish to freshen up his team.

As usual, most of those options are in attack with Dele Adebola, David McGoldrick, Nathan Tyson and Garath McCleary in contention for recalls but defender Joel Lynch is also available.

Radoslaw Majewski completes a three-match ban while fellow midfielder Guy Moussi (thigh), forwards Robbie Findley (thigh) and Dexter Blackstock (knee) and defender Kelvin Wilson remain sidelined.

Forest will once again be defending their proud unbeaten record at the City Ground which spans 35 league games stretching back to September 2009.

Preston boss Phil Brown is boosted by the return of on-loan QPR striker Leon Clarke for the trip.

Clarke missed Saturday`s 1-1 draw with Rangers at Deepdale as he was ineligible to face his parent club under the terms of his loan.

He could come straight back into the starting line-up as rock-bottom North End go in search of their first win since Brown took over last month.

Striker Iain Hume has been nursing a hamstring injury but is edging closer to full fitness and may come into contention to face Davies` men.

Midfielder Paul Coutts and forward Chris Brown are also hoping to be passed fit after injury but the City Ground may come too soon for them.
