Notts County have signed former Manchester United trainee Febian Brandy on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old striker has been a free agent since leaving the Premier League club last summer.

Brandy was a regular in United's reserve team and represented England Under 16s, 17s, 18s, 19s and 20s.

He had loan spells with Swansea, Hereford and Gillingham during his time at Old Trafford.

Brandy has been handed the number 29 shirt and will give boss Paul Ince another attacking option.
