Cheltenham have doubts over Keith Lowe, Martin Riley and David Bird ahead of the visit of leaders Chesterfield.

Right-back Lowe (ankle), centre-back Riley (hamstring) and utility man Bird (calf) all missed Tuesday`s 2-1 victory over Stockport as the Robins clinched their first victory in nine matches.

And they are all again likely to miss out against the Spireites, although Bird has the strongest chance of passing a late fitness test.

Loan signing Medy Elito missed out in midweek with a virus but has now recovered and is pushing to be involved.

Striker Jeff Goulding sustained a scratch to his cornea during the win which provided him with some discomfort but he should be fit to take his place.

Chesterfield hope to have Ian Breckin available.

The experienced centre-half was taken ill prior to the game against Wycombe in midweek, but the league leaders' makeshift defence impressed in defeating their nearest rivals 4-1 at the b2net Stadium.

With Simon Ford (calf) still out and Javan Vidal back at Manchester City after his loan spell, boss John Sheridan will have his fingers crossed that Breckin is fit in time.

Dean Morgan made a surprise return to the starting line-up against Wycombe after several weeks out with an ankle injury and the forward should be involved again after suffering no ill-effects.

Sheridan could be further boosted by the return of midfielders Mark Allott and Dwayne Mattis from ankle and calf problems respectively.
