Torquay boss Paul Buckle will have Mark Ellis available when his side face Stevenage at Plainmoor.

The centre-back returns after completing the one-match ban he received for his sending off at Accrington last weekend by sitting out the 1-1 draw with Rotherham on Tuesday.

Ellis will more than likely return to the starting line-up which would mean Chris Robertson moving back to full-back and captain Lee Minshull returning to his favoured midfield position.

Attacking midfielder Ryan Gilligan will be unavailable, though, as he has cut short his loan spell with the Gulls and returned to parent club Northampton due to a family bereavement and the fact that manager Ian Sampson has been sacked by the Cobblers.

Buckle has no injury or suspension worries as United look to try and gain momentum for a play-off charge.

Stevenage boss Graham Westley could recall Darren Murphy to his squad.

The midfielder has only made one appearance for Boro this season after dislocating his shoulder against Portsmouth in the Carling Cup in August. He then broke his leg on his comeback for the reserves in September.

However, he has now fought his way back to fitness, and after playing 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek is available for selection but if picked is likely to start on the bench.

Striker Craig Reid also impressed for the reserves alongside Murphy, netting four goals, and that form could earn him a starting place alongside Byron Harrison who scored twice in Saturday's 4-0 win over Cheltenham on his return to the first XI.

Westley is unlikely to make many changes, though, after an impressive performance against the Robins which left his side just three points off a League Two play-off spot.
