Liverpool wing wizard target Eden Hazard has signed a contract extension at Lille.
The Belgian international has been linked with a number of Barclays Premier League clubs in recent seasons, with Liverpool thought to be one of those leading the chase for the player.
However, the player has ended speculation over a potential move from the Ligue 1 outfit by signing a contract extension with Les Dogues until 2015.
With over 100 appearances for the club in all competitions, the 20-year-old is vastly experienced at domestic level and already has 17 caps to his name at international level.
Liverpool were thought to have become interested in the player after an impressive performance at Anfield in the Europa League, with Damien Comolli taking an active interest in bringing the player to Merseyside.
Spanish clubs were also thought to have taken an interest in the player, but talkSPORT now notes that the Stade Lille-Metropole outfit are in a strong position to keep the player for another four years.
Liverpool will now look to take their attacking search elsewhere, with Dalglish looking to revamp the squad with summer signings at the end of the season.
The Scot has hinted at a number of additions following the big-spending in January, but it's now unlikely that Hazard will make his way to Liverpool.
