Ten-man Huddersfield`s promotion challenge suffered a blow as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Yeovil.

The Terriers had an early setback when right-back Lee Peltier was sent off in the 13th minute. The former Yeovil defender caught Dean Bowditch with an elbow and referee Phil Crossley immediately got out his red card.

The Glovers had already lost midfielder Paul Wotton with a fourth-minute injury, but they made the running throughout the first half and it was no surprise when Andrew Williams held off the challenge of two defenders to fire them ahead shortly after the restart.

Huddersfield had a much better second half and drew level in the 58th minute when defender Antony Kay was at the far post to head in a right-wing corner from Anthony Pilkington.

Yeovil held on as the 10-man Terriers pressed for a winner, and their point could prove valuable in the battle against relegation.
