Liverpool starlet target Ganso is confident he could impress in England.

The Brazilian international appears to be aware of interest in Europe, with Liverpool thought to be leading the chase from the Barclays Premier League.

TalkSPORT reports that Spurs are also in the chase for the 21-year-old, although competition from Spain could be fierce for the Santos playmaker's signature.

"I would prefer to play in Spain but I think I would also succeed in England where the soccer is faster, I think I would fit in well there," Ganso told ESPN's South American magazine.

Kenny Dalglish has hinted at a number of changes to the Liverpool squad in the summer, with NESV set to back the Anfield boss financially after spending big in the January transfer window.

Ganso made his debut for the samba stars back in 2010, appearing in a friendly against USA on the back of some fine individual performances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.

Liverpool are reportedly 'watching' the player with interest, and have been tracking his progress for a number of weeks. The player's value is unknown though, and it's thought that Santos would be keen to hold onto the player if possible.

However, the lure of Europe has seen a vast number of Brazilian stars make the move in the past, and Liverpool will hope to persuade Ganso that Anfield can be his home in the future.
