Torquay's on-loan Shrewsbury forward Jake Robinson scored twice against his parent club in a 5-0 thrashing as Paul Buckle's play-off chasing Gulls claimed their biggest npower League Two win of the season.

The Gulls were given a flying start by new loan signing Gavin Tomlin, before Jermaine Grandison was sent-off for Shrewsbury.

Robinson then struck with a 54th-minute penalty and doubled his tally two minutes later with a thumping 20-yard strike to make it 3-0.

Striker Chris Zebroski got a fourth in the 70th minute when he buried Craig Stanley's cross, before Shrewsbury skipper Ian Sharps appeared to get the last touch to Stanley's cross-shot in the 85th minute.

Clayton Donaldson netted his 20th goal of the season as Crewe stunned runaway league leaders Chesterfield 2-0.

Danny Shelley scored a late free-kick to seal the game as Crewe claimed their first clean sheet in 14 games and the Spireites saw their lead cut to 10 points.

Rotherham's stuttering push for promotion suffered another setback as they were held to a goalless draw by Bury, while John Mousinho came back to haunt former club Wycombe with a stunning second-half winner for 10-man Stevenage.

Borough's victory was one of three 1-0 away victories in the fourth tier, with both Macclesfield and Bradford securing wins by the same margin.

Colin Daniel grabbed the only goal of the game as Macclesfield sent Northampton crashing to their fourth straight defeat and James Hanson helped Bradford secured their second win of the week at Morecambe to increase interim boss Peter Jackson's chances of securing the job full time.
