Chelsea’s latest signing - Sao Poalo’s ‘new Kaka’ Lucas Piazon - can't wait to get going at Stamford Bridge.
“I am happy because it's always been my dream to play in Europe," Piazon told The Mirror.
"Chelsea have Brazilian players already - Ramires and Luiz - and that is excellent for me and will help speed up how I settle in.”
Speculation is growing that Chelsea are considering signing the original Brazilian superstar Kaka in the summer, with the midfielder falling out of favour with Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho over the last season. Should this happen, Piazon will be facing the prospect of learning from one of the best Brazilian football talents in the world.
And the striker, who can also play midfield like Kaka, hinted at following in the footsteps of the legend he has often been compared to, suggesting Italian football experience may also be a big part of his future.
"Italy and England are the biggest leagues but England always looks spectacular and exciting. It will be a great challenge." Piazon said.
