Tottenham Hotspur are set to renew their interest in Blackpool winger Charlie Adam.
The Scottish international was subject to bids from both Spurs and Liverpool in the January transfer window, but was tempted to stay on by manager Ian Holloway to help fight against relegation from the Barclays Premier League.
But the Blackpool boss will be seemingly powerless to stop any exit this summer, with Manchester United also keen on the 26-year-old.
The White Hart Lane club did have a bid accepted for Adam in the final hours of the January transfer window but a deal couldn't be agreed.
Harry Redknapp's interest in Adam has been swelled by Werder Bremen's intent to sign Niko Kranjcar, and the former Portsmouth boss sees the winger as the perfect replacement for the outgoing Croatian midfielder.
Regardless of their finish in the Champions League and in the league, Redknapp is expected to be given a multi-million pound transfer kitty to help build a Spurs squad that can assure regular Champions League football and challenge for the Barclays Premier League title.
