Jarvis sinks Villa

Wolves piled on the misery for Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier with Matt Jarvis' first-half strike deciding a tense Barclays Premier League relegation clash at Villa Park 1-0 in the visitors favour.

Jarvis's fifth goal of the season earned Wolves their first win over their derby rivals in 31 years and closed the gap on Villa to a single point.

Villa fans chanted 'we want Houllier out' at the final whistle and greeted his walk to the tunnel with loud boos.
