In response to Roman Reigns pulling himself off the WrestleMania card, Becky Lynch has said WWE has gone to great lengths to try to minimize the risk of spreading coronavirus while filming their shows over the past few weeks at their Performance Center.

Over the past couple of weeks, WWE has been filming their Raw, SmackDown, and NXT shows at the Performance Center due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. WrestleMania 36 was recorded this week at the Center as well.

The company has been doing everything they can to limit the spread of the coronavirus, but some superstars have still made the decision to not perform at WrestleMania this year, most notably Roman Reigns.

Speaking to ESPN, Becky Lynch was asked about The Big Dog’s decision to not perform at this year’s Showcase of Immortals, to which she replied WWE has gone to great lengths to minimize the risk of spreading the coronavirus, so she didn’t have any concerns for herself.

The Raw Women’s Champion said: "I didn't have any concerns for myself. We've settled on a very hygienic system and really limited the amount of people that are there.

“I think the only thing that I'm very conscientious of is now that we're back, and when we come back, that we just isolate ourselves for a couple of weeks to make sure we don't have any symptoms before we go out in the world again.

"They are staggering everything. If you don't have a reason to be there, then get the hell out of there. You're not there.

“If you have a match or a segment, you're there with a minimal amount of crew to shoot it, then when you come in your temperature is taken, questionnaire is filled out and the doctors are there to meet you as soon as you walk into the building."

Still, Reigns won’t be competing at this year’s WrestleMania despite the measures and precautions put into place at the Performance Center by WWE.

The Big Dog’s replacement for his Universal Championship match against Goldberg at this year’s Showcase of Immortals is expected to be revealed next week on Friday Night SmackDown, and the superstar is expected to be Braun Strowman.
