Real Madrid’s superstar Kaka has a bigger chance than ever of signing with Chelsea or Manchester City this summer, with Brazil coach Mano Manezes saying the 28 year old could yet feature for the Brazil squad again.
Manezes told Folha de Sao Paulo: "We always thought of Kaka, and Ronaldinho, who are brilliant players. But I'm not sure of how they are going to be from now on."
Kaka has struggled to find form since injuring his knee at the beginning of the La Liga season. Since recovering, German midfielder Mesut Oezil is now the preferred playmaker for Real Madrid coach Mourinho, with Kaka often left on the bench.
Game time will now be at the fore front of Kaka’s mind, and with both Chelsea and Manchester City willing to offer that to the star, he will be very tempted by a move to England.
While Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti coached Kaka in some of his best years as a footballer at AC Milan, Manchester City is said to have the funds to offer whatever is necessary to secure Kaka’s signature.
Wherever Kaka chooses to head in the summer, it is clear the Brazilian needs to prove himself again for selection in the international squad.
