Petr Cech believes Chelsea are still in with a chance of defending their Barclays Premier League crown this season.
Chelsea have enjoyed a mini-revival in recent weeks, having dispatched of both Manchester United and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge to close the gap on the league leaders to nine points.
The Blues also retain a game in hand over United and - despite admitting they are reliant on their rivals dropping points - Cech feels Chelsea are still in with a shot of silverware.
"I think that, despite everything, we did exactly the same thing when we were winning 5-0 as in the period when we were losing or drawing," the Chelsea goalkeeper told The Sun.
"Lately we've managed to win games and have done some good things.
"We're more secure at the back and we still have the opportunity to catch Manchester United if they start dropping points.
"We are still dependent on all the others. But we have to win, win, win, keep the pressure on.
"What is essential for a club like Chelsea is to have the stature of a club playing in the Champions League next season.
"We have some big games coming up and there are teams around us who are battling for it as well.
"The game against City was a six-pointer."
