As Jack Wilshere gets ready to make his first appearance for England in a competitive match, he continues to gather praise for both his prodigious talent and excellent temperament.
Aged only 19, Wilshere has seemingly has the attributes and mentality to be one of the greats of the game - which is why Fabio Capello has already earmarked the midfielder as a future England captain.
Former England enforcer Ray Wilkins is the latest person to laud the Arsenal starlet and believes his no fear attitude will stand him in good stead for the future.
"I can remember being extremely nervous as a young man. First and foremost, you're in awe of the guys you're working with," he said.
"But Jack gives me the impression that he has this confidence about him and doesn't really care too much — he'll just get out there and play.
"Jack's been outstanding. I thought his contribution in the Nou Camp against Barcelona was absolutely fantastic for one so young.
"I thought he was the one player who came out of the game as far as Arsenal were concerned with all the flags flying.
"He's an exceptional footballer, so I think we should be getting him in there, keeping him in there and nurturing him along."
