Ian Thomas-Moore scored a hat-trick as Rotherham won 6-0 at Lincoln in caretaker boss Andy Liddell's first match in charge.

Thomas-Moore, whose father Ronnie Moore left his position as manager this week, scored after nine, 50 and, 63 minutes, the last coming from the spot, to put a difficult week behind him.

Danny Harrison also scored after 14 minutes, while Ryan Taylor added a double in the 53rd and 87th minutes.

Torquay missed the chance to put themselves into third place with a 2-2 draw at Northampton.

In a match delayed because of traffic, Eunan O'Kane put Torquay ahead after 14 minutes, before John Johnson levelled on the half-hour mark.

In a frantic finish, Billy Kee gave Torquay the lead again in stoppage time, but there was still time for Guillem Bauza to salvage a point.
