Glen Johnson was the only absentee from training of the 20 players still at Fabio Capello's disposal for England's friendly with Ghana at Wembley on Tuesday night.
The Liverpool defender has a strict fitness regime which means he is sometimes absent from training sessions after games and England were adhering to that policy.
Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Ashley Cole and Michael Dawson had been allowed to return to their clubs after playing in Saturday's 2-0 win over Wales in a Euro 2012 qualifier.
Capello has promised to make wholesale changes against Ghana, with Gareth Barry among the leading candidates to take temporary charge of the armband in Terry's absence.
Barry skippered England for the second half of the friendly against Trinidad and Tobago in June 2008 and also had a brief spell as captain during last month's win against Denmark in Copenhagen.
