Leeds midfielder Neil Kilkenny is relishing the challenge of helping his club secure promotion during the run-in.
Kilkenny, who has retained his place in the Australia squad for Tuesday's friendly against Germanay in Monchengladbach, is unfazed by the growing expectation at Elland Road.
The 25-year-old, whose side lie fifth, six points adrift of second-placed Norwich, said: "I'm looking forward to the final eight games. We'll try and keep going and hopefully do well."
He added: "Everyone was talking about staying up but expectations change, now people are talking about automatic promotion and the play-offs.
"We'll keep our feet on the ground and see where we go.
"We know we have a young, hungry squad and hopefully we can see out the job and get promoted."
