Barclays Premier League legends don't come much better than Paul Scholes.
The veteran Manchester United midfielder will go down as one of the all-time greats to grace the English top-flight and will rank high among the ultimate Old Trafford heroes.
Scholes has previously been called the 'complete footballer' by none other than Zinedine Zidane and named as the best centre-midfielder of the last 20 years by Barcelona star Xavi - some accolade for the 36-year-old.
Thierry Henry is the latest star name to step forward in praise of the former England international, with the Arsenal record scorer claiming Scholes was the best player he came up against during his time in England.
“For me the best player, and every time we used to play against Manchester United, we always used to be scared of Paul Scholes," the New York Red Bulls striker told Sky Sports News.
“For me, he was the best I have seen in the Premiership in the middle of the park.
“His vision, the way he sees the game, his goals ratio...a bit more now obviously, because we all, you know have to stop one day...but his goal ratio, his vision, he could put his foot in, whatever you wanted.
“I’m also a big fan of Steven Gerrard but for me, Paul Scholes was amazing.”
