Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema could miss the first-leg for the Champions League quarter-final against Tottenham Hotspur with a thigh problem.
The French striker picked up the knock in Tuesday's friendly against Croatia and was substituted with 15 minutes remaining to go.
Manager Laurent Blanc said: "He felt a little pinch in his thigh."
The 23-year-old is likely to miss Real's La Liga meeting with Sporting Gijon this weekend and faces a race against time to be for Tuesday's showdown at the Bernabeu.
The loss of Benzema to Madrid would not only be a blow in terms of the Frenchman's form, which has seen him score eight times in his last five matches, but also because Madrid's options up-front are already stretched with Gonzalo Higuain still out after back surgery.
Given the injury blow, former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be in line to start against Spurs in the first leg
