Reports are circulating that Real Madrid want to sign young Brazilian star Neymar, and are willing to offer Kaka in exchange for the wonderkid.
Chelsea were front lining the bids for Neymar, who has been valued at £30 million by ESPN, and the 19 year old starred in an international friendly with Scotland last week, scoring twice.
Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro de Oliveira told reporters yesterday he would be holding onto Neyma, saying: "He is going to gain international recognition, and maybe get chosen as the best player in the world, playing in Brazil.
“This is something that hasn't happened since Pele's day, and he has a golden chance,"
But according to Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, Real Madrid are willing to offer Kaka in a swap deal, which they are hoping will undercut any offer Chelsea puts forward for the starlet.
Kaka has underperformed for Real Madrid over the last season, spending the first half injured and then being replaced in the second half from the starting squad with Mesut Oezil.
Chelsea will no doubt be grieved by such a deal, with the Blues linked to chasing Kaka as well as Neymar.
