Manchester United starlet Javier Hernandez has been linked to a possible offer from Real Madrid, according to The Guardian.
Hernandez has been the form player for Manchester Untied of late, with the 22 year old scoring 10 league goals this season and 16 in total, with three in Europe.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be very difficult to convince to depart with Hernandez, who he sees as United’s next superstar.
But Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho is reportedly set on bringing the youngster into his attacking force, and believes Ferguson won’t be so bothered if he signs £35 million forward Ashley Young from Aston Villa.
Should Real Madrid make a move for Hernandez, they would certainly have the spending power to match any demand that Ferguson and Manchester United make for the forward.
Mournho also reportedly sees Hernandez as being integral to Real Madrid squaring up with Barcelona, who are currently five points ahead of their rivals on the La Liga table, and looking far for lethal in the 2011 Champions League matches.
