The agent of highly rated Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci has opened the door for his client to complete a summer move to the Barclays Premier League.
Maurizio Gaudino has built himself a reputation for fuelling speculation linking many of his representatives with big-money transfer moves thanks to his outlandish comments in the press.
Tasci has been a long-term target for Serie A giants Juventus, and reports in the German media suggested that the 23-year-old centre half would transfer to Italy at the end of the current season.
However, speaking to Calciomercato.it, Gaudino touted, "Italy is an option, but the Premier League is a competition that fascinates him."
The latest developments will have alerted the attention of potential suitors Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur who have both been tracking Tasci's progress over the past few months.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen to strengthen his defensive department and has earmarked Tasci as an ideal acquisition to bring additional competition at the heart of the Gunners' backline.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp also has injury concerns in the same position, with only two fit central defenders currently at White Hart Lane.
With long-term crock Jonathan Woodgate suffering another set-back, it appears that Redknapp is finally losing patience with the Tottenham star and will look to bring in a replacement in the form of Tasci in the summer.
The promising talent has risen through the ranks at Stuttgart to establish himself as one of the clubs key players in the Bundesliga this season.
And as a member of the Germany squad that finished third in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Tasci would bring a wealth of experience to either Arsenal or Spurs should either club chose to step up their interest in June.
