Tottenham wonderkid Gareth Bale would consider heading to a club other than Spurs, the 21 year old has revealed.
"You never know [what will happen] but I have no fear about leaving the country," he told Italian publication AS.
"If there is a great opportunity then that has to be considered seriously.
"I left home when I was 15, if I leave the Premier League, learn another language and see another country then I will grow as a person."
Bale has reportedly been fielding offers from Italian and Spanish teams, though Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has insisted the winger won’t be sold.
"[Bale] is a fantastic player and the type of player we need to be keeping at Spurs,” Redknapp told reporters when Bale signed a new contract with Tottenham last month.
But should Bale ask to leave Tottenham for a new adventure in Europe, Redknapp will be hard pressed to say no to the starlet.
On the hype that Bale receives in the media, the youngster said he was surprised and copped flack from Spurs players.
"I try not to think about it, my team-mates joke a lot about it," he continued.
"I am playing the best football of my career with Tottenham, and it just seems like they are talking about someone else when people are talking about how much I would cost and who would sign me."
