Liverpool playmaker target Arda Turan appears poised for a Galatasaray exit this summer, according to the player's agent.
Ahmet Bulut told Sport.co.uk that his client is in talks with a European club that isn't from England, but would be 'open' to the possibility should a Barclays Premier League side like Liverpool make their interest known.
"I can confirm we are talking with one very big club in Europe about a potential move in the summer," Bulut exclusively told the website.
"In the next 10-15 days we are looking to finalise a deal. It is not an English club we are talking to, but we are open. Any move is subject to Gala agreeing a fee as he is under contract and Arda has confirmed he wants to leave this summer.”
Liverpool have long been linked with Turan, stemming back to previous managers Rafa Benitez and Roy Hodgson.
The talented 24-year-old already has 43 international caps to his name, and has appeared for Gala close to 200 time already after making his debut during the 2004/05 season.
A versatile attacking midfielder who can play on the left wing, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Spurs are also thought to be interested in the player, who is looking to progress his career outside the Super Lig.
Kenny Dalglish is thought to be in the market for both a winger and midfielder, and director of football Damien Comolli has said that Liverpool will make significant transfer moves when the window re-opens in the summer.
It's unknown if the Scot has followed his predecessors in taking an active interest in Turan, but with Ashley Young, Matt Jarvis and Eden Hazard also on the radar it would come as no surprise to see Liverpool add the player to their shortlist.
