Manchester United have announced a testimonial match to honour legend Gary Neville’s contribution to the club.
Neville has played more than 600 games for United, and has never played for any other club. The right-back is the second longest serving Manchester United player of all time behind Ryan Giggs.
"I'm delighted to be given this game by the club," Gary said.
"It's going to be a very emotional night for me, especially as I pull on that red shirt once more in what will be my last game for the club.
“I intend to savour every moment and I hope the fans can share in my special night."
United will take on Italian giants Juventus, in what will no doubt be an exciting encounter for both sides.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said that the night was important to show the club’s appreciation for a player who will no doubt be remembered as one of the greats.
"Gary has been a loyal servant of Manchester United and this is a fitting tribute to honour Gary and his career,” Ferguson said.
"It also gives fans the opportunity to show admiration and appreciation for a player who's very much one of them.
“We've had many great games against Juventus in the past and I'm sure this will be another memorable night."
The match will take place at Old Trafford on Tuesday 24th May. For tickets, fans can call the Manchester United ticket office on 0161 868 8000.
