Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth hailed the efforts of his players after he was named League Two manager of the month for March.
The Shots have been in fine form since Holdsworth took charge in January and are undefeated since February.
He told Sky Sports News: "This is fantastic for everyone associated with the football club. We have worked very hard for it and I hope it won't be a burden for us.
"I have tried to make it a happy place to play and train and it is down to the players who have bought into the fitness regime and the brand of football I wanted to bring in to the club.
"The play-offs are a little bit too far away for us now but we will try and win every game between now and the end of the season."
The Shots are 13th in the League Two table with six games remaining, nine points behind seventh-placed Torquay.
