Tottenham Hotspur defender Vedran Corluka is calling for Spurs to finish in the top four to help banish the demons from their Real Madrid nightmare.
The north-london side face Stoke City this weekend after a humiliating four-goal defeat at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.
But the Croatian believes that with such a deficit to make up in the second leg, his side have to concentrate on their league form.
"We are playing against Real Madrid and we are four goals down. I think we will have to play that game as best as we can but we won’t be thinking that we can go into the semi-finals," he said.
"We will enjoy the day and try and give something to our fans. But we are now thinking about what we have to do in the league. We have Chelsea in front of us and we desperately want to be in the Champions League next season.
"We are all focused on Stoke City, that now is a really big game for us. They will be difficult opponents but we will try and win. We never look back, only at what is in front of us. We know that we have to win our next games and to try and catch the teams that are ahead of us."
Spurs defeat in Madrid saw their winless run extend to six games, and they'll be keen for a change in fortunes this weekend when they face a Stoke side who are also preoccupied with cup football, as they face Bolton Wanderers next weekend in the FA Cup semi-final.
