Arsenal duo Alex Song and Theo Walcott are struggling to be fit to face Blackpool, according to reports.
The Gunners' pair picked up knocks in last weekend's draw against Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates, and the Guardian claims the pair are yet to prove their availability for selection.
"Theo had an ice pack on an ankle, it was the ankle he injured before. He was a bit stiff at half-time but he should be OK," Arsene Wenger said on the injury earlier in the week.
Walcott's season has been blighted by niggling injuries thus far, and an in-ability to play against the Tangerines would be another setback for the England international.
Cameroon international song is rated as a major doubt, with a recurrence of an earlier season knee injury putting pay to his chances of appearing at Bloomfield Road.
The news could open the door to Emmanuel Frimpong, with the teenager recently recovering from injury and desperate for an opportunity in the Arsenal first team.
"I've just got to stop thinking about the past," Frimpong said on Thursday.
"At the moment I'm playing and hopefully I won't have any more injuries."
