Palermo star midfielder Armin Bacinovic is to be made an offer by Manchester United, according to Italian sports source Itasportpress.

Reports are circulating that the 21 year old is high on Sir Alex Ferguson’s wish list for the summer transfer window, after moving to Palermo last season.

Pundits have described Bacinovic as a ‘revelation’ for Palermo, who currently sit mid table in the Serie A.

During the international break, when Bacinovic played for Slovenia against Northern Ireland, the starlet expressed a desire to play for the Barclays Premier League.

“In Belfast, there were so many hard tackles, we fought for every ball. But that is the way I like to play football,” Bacinovic said.

“I enjoy so much the hard battles, I’m a die-hard player and I never step back, not even one centimetre.

“I really like the British kind of football so my big wish is to play in the Premier League one day.”

The youngster’s age will no doubt impress Manchester United, who are looking to rebuild their squad, and with Ferguson reportedly receiving a cash injection in excess of £100 million to spend this summer, Manchester United will no doubt be able to afford Bacinovic if Palermo put a high price over his head.
