AC Milan will use striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a makeweight in an audacious bid to sign Manchester City's Edin Dzeko, according to talkSPORT.
The Bosnian striker has made little impact since his £27 million move from Werder Bremen in the January transfer window.
Ibrahimovic, who has scored 14 Serie A goals this season, might be used to tempt City to part with Dzeko, who is reportedly Milan's No.1 target.
City manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly a fan of the Swedish talisman, after managing the forward during his time at Inter Milan.
With Carlos Tevez's future still uncertain, City will be keen to recruit a forward who has a proven track record of scoring goals in domestic competition as well as in Europe.
Dzeko has failed to find the net in nine Premier League appearances since his joint Mancini's side earlier this year.
