Chelsea are continuing to push English football into new territories, allowing youngsters to participate in a ‘search for an Asia star’ program in May.

The program is open to youngsters aged between nine and twelve, and any children from Asian backgrounds will have a chance to train at Chelsea's world famous Academy at Cobham.

Bollywood legend Abhishek Bachchan, who is a Chelsea fan, believes the program is great for reaching out to different cultures and finding new talent.

“Once again my own club Chelsea is leading the way in getting more young Asian players into the game,” Bachchan said.

“I'm proud of what we are achieving and happy to support this fantastic campaign. If you're a player or a parent of a young footballer, sign up and get involved and give Asian football a boost.”

Details of the program are available on the official Chelsea website.
