Tranmere have offered professional contracts to youth scholars Max Power and Andy Coughlin.

The pair are currently in the final year of two-year youth scholarships and have been handed their first professional deals at Prenton Park.

Rovers manager Les Parry said: "I'm really pleased to be able to offer Andy and Max their first professional contracts."

He added: "They've done well for both the youth team and reserves in their two years as scholars and deserve a chance to work full time with the first-team squad next season.

"Hopefully they'll take this chance with both hands."
